I deliver bespoke, accredited coaching training to therapists, which recognises and validates their prior learning and experience. I am a European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC) accredited Coach training provider. EMCC is one of the foremost professional coaching standards bodies.
Dr Trish Turner, Lead Trainer and Owner
Educated to doctoral level, Trish is a qualified and accredited master executive coach, an integrative psychotherapeutic counsellor and intersubjective psychotherapist, and a qualified and accredited coach and clinical supervisor of both groups and individuals.
For over 25 years, Trish was a senior leader in a broad range of business sectors including the public, private and voluntary sector. Her last corporate role was as Board Director of a £1.2bn NHS organisation, culminating in her being identified nationally as an ‘NHS Top Leader’.
Trish trained as a coach and a coach supervisor and found that working one-to-one with individuals and having conversations that really matter is what is most important to her. She therefore undertook further training as a psychotherapeutic counsellor and an intersubjective psychotherapist and a clinical supervisor. She has now had her own private practice. for over a decade. Her coaching clients are usually senior leaders within the public and private sector, often working with the organisations who commission her work to develop and grow high potential employees.
In addition, she provides supervision at a charity in Norfolk to adults who have mental health, social or emotional difficulties that affect daily living. She is a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and an accredited and registered member of the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP). She is the expert coaching consulting for Ambition Institute, supporting staff and the pool of over 70 coaches and supervisors across all leadership programmes. Part of this role includes devising an annual national coaching conference, where she has worked and delivered with Professor David Clutterbuck, Julie Starr and Kim Morgan (Barefoot Coaching).
With over a decade of experience of coaching, areas of expertise include increasing confidence, developing leadership skills, increasing performance, managing relationships, building resilience and managing conflict. She has a particular passion for working with individuals experiencing substantial personal and organisational change. Trish has a contract with NHS Health Education East for whom she delivers coaching to senior NHS leaders and coaching supervision, both individual and group, and CPD and training to internal coaches. A qualified trainer, facilitator and further education lecturer, Trish has been devising and delivering high quality training for over 20 years.
Trish is passionate about professional standards in coaching and supporting coaches to develop and celebrate their experience and skills. She is an accreditation assessor and verifier for EMCC International, assessing training providers, coaches and supervisors.
